Four Six Photography takes its name from our local zip code. If your zip code starts with “46,” you’re right in my backyard and I’d love to help with your photography needs. But even if you’re outside the area, don’t worry. I’m happy to travel wherever your project takes me.
Depending on the service you choose, sessions can take place on-site at your location, outdoors, or in my Carmel studio.

Meet Mike
Hi, I’m Mike — the photographer behind Indy Headshots and Four Six Photography. I’m a proud Ball State alum and longtime Indianapolis resident, now living in Cicero. My family has deep roots here: my kids attended North Central High School, and I couldn’t be prouder of the paths they’ve taken — my son works as a welder in Cleveland, and my daughter is thriving as a social media consultant near the “happiest place on earth” in Florida along with her new husband who works for the Mouse.
At home, I share life with my partner of more than a decade, who’s been endlessly supportive of my photography journey. We’re officially empty nesters now — unless you count the rescue dogs who’ve been part of our family over the years.
My passion for photography started back in high school when my grandpa handed me my first camera. What began as a small portrait business (originally launched so I could stay home with my kids) has grown into a full-time career specializing in professional headshots, product and property photography, and photo restoration. Along the way, I’ve been honored with awards for my work — but the real reward is helping people and businesses look their best.
Photography isn’t just my career — it’s a chance to connect with people, create images that inspire confidence, and keep my creativity alive, all while making space for what matters most: family and community.
